These videos are designed to educate personnel on threads, the individual thread elements and how to properly inspect those thread elements with a variety of equipment. The first set of videos is intended to provide general information about each individual thread element and its importance, the affect it has on connection make-up and general information on how to properly measure it per the corresponding API specification. All videos contain the most up to date information from all relevant API specifications and recommended practices. The ultimate goal is to provide machinists, inspectors and managers with a better overall understanding of threads, why they must be measured and how to properly measure them resulting in better threading practices and a better overall product for the industry.

Hi Connor,
Is this T&C training course based on API 5B?
Connor Oboyle
Hey Nima,
Yes, this course is based off information from API spec 5CT and 5B1. It will cover measurement techniques on all individual thread elements while still covering functional diameter checks with ring/plug gauges. We hope you find our courses helpful.
